GAINESVILLE, Va. — Joaquin Niemann secured his fourth victory of the LIV Golf season on June 8, 2025, after a remarkable final round at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. The 26-year-old Torque GC captain recorded a stunning bogey-free 8-under 63, finishing the tournament at 15 under par, just one shot ahead of his closest competitors.

Niemann’s victory marked his sixth win in LIV Golf history, establishing him as the league’s all-time winningest individual golfer in just 21 regular-season starts. “Pretty cool to be in this place, in this position right now,” Niemann said after the win. “I’m pretty thankful.”

This win continues his dominance throughout the 2025 season, where he has consistently performed at a high level. Meanwhile, Phil Mickelson showcased his incredible talent on the course, executing a jaw-dropping flop shot on the par-4 17th hole. Sitting at 12 under and just two shots off the lead, Mickelson managed a spectacular birdie from a deep rough spot, earning praise from his fellow competitors.

The final round also featured intense moments, including multiple rain delays and fierce competition from other notable players like Graeme McDowell, who sought his first individual title, and Anirban Lahiri, the first-round leader looking for a win after a decade.

The Crushers GC team clinched their second consecutive team title by finishing two strokes ahead of the 4Aces GC, further solidifying their place as the league’s all-time winningest team with eight total victories. “I didn’t know [we’d] won eight times, which is pretty cool,” said Bryson DeChambeau, who contributed a 65 to the team score. “It’s a testament to these guys.”

Despite the challenges posed by weather, Niemann emerged as the standout performer. Following a weather delay, he seized the lead with four consecutive birdies from holes 14 to 17, leaving his competitors behind. Niemann’s performance has solidified his reputation as one of the top players in the game today.

<p“As a player, you can argue he's a top five,” McDowell commented on Niemann's performance. “Phenomenal, phenomenal player.”

Fourteen LIV players are set to turn their focus to the upcoming tournament at Oakmont Country Club, anticipated from June 27-29. The level of talent on display and the competitive atmosphere suggest exciting times ahead for LIV Golf.
