John Bishop Comedy Tour 2025

Comedy superstar John Bishop is set to return to Aberdeen‘s P&J Live for a landmark performance in October 2025, celebrating a quarter-century in the industry. Bishop’s upcoming show, titled “John Bishop: 25,” will be part of a tour marking 25 years since he first stepped onto the stage as a comedian.

The Aberdeen show, scheduled for October 2, 2025, will feature tickets priced uniformly at £25, a gesture of gratitude from Bishop to his loyal fanbase. The tour will also see the comedian performing at other iconic venues including the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, the O2 in London, and the Co-op Live in Manchester.

John Bishop began his comedic journey on October 2, 2000, at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester, performing before a small audience. At the time, Bishop was employed in the pharmaceutical industry and did not anticipate the meteoric rise his comedy career would soon take. “I can’t believe that next year it will be 25 years since I first performed at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester. It’s been a rollercoaster!” Bishop expressed, reflecting on his career.

In a statement of appreciation, Bishop remarked, “And I can’t thank the fans enough who have supported me all the way. I wanted to mark the anniversary with a brand-new tour and do something to say thank you – so every ticket throughout the tour will be £25.”

Rob Wicks, Managing Director at P&J Live, commented on Bishop’s return to the venue, “Having performed a hilarious stand-up show at P&J Live on a cold winter’s evening in February 2022, we are delighted to welcome him back to celebrate a phenomenal milestone in his career – 25 years of comedy. We know the people of north-east Scotland will get behind him and give him a warm welcome to celebrate his achievement.”

Fans will have the opportunity to access presale tickets starting Wednesday, October 9, at 10 am, with general sales opening on Friday, October 11, 2024, also at 10 am.
