Jokic, who did not play in the fourth quarter, secured his 18th triple-double of the season, while Jamal Murray added 20 points and 11 rebounds. The Nuggets extended their road winning streak to six games, shooting 52% from the field despite committing 20 turnovers and struggling from beyond the arc, making just 7 of 25 three-point attempts.
Michael Porter Jr. contributed 19 points, and Aaron Gordon chipped in 15 points and six rebounds for Denver, which improved to 35-7 on the season. The Nuggets outrebounded the Magic 57-40, with Christian Braun grabbing 11 boards.
Orlando, playing without several key players due to injuries, was led by Paolo Banchero, who scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Cole Anthony came off the bench to add 14 points and five assists. The Magic, ranked second in the NBA in defensive efficiency, have now allowed 122, 121, and 113 points in their last three games, losing five of their last six.
A pivotal moment came late in the third quarter when Murray scored 10 consecutive points, turning an 83-77 Denver lead into a 16-point advantage. Three of those baskets were assisted by Jokic, who showcased his playmaking ability.
The Nuggets will return home to face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, while the Magic travel to Toronto to take on the Raptors the same night.
