Josh Allen Nfl Game Highlights

Buffalo, NY – Josh Allen is on the brink of breaking NFL history. In a standout performance during the Bills’ recent 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Allen recorded three rushing touchdowns and three passing touchdowns, marking a career milestone with a total of 75 touchdowns over his career.

With his remarkable feat, only three quarterbacks in NFL history have accomplished the task of securing three passing and three rushing touchdowns in a single game. Allen has done this twice, while Otto Graham’s notable performance in 1954 rounds out the list.

Now in his eighth season, Allen shares the record for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with Cam Newton, and he is just one touchdown away from claiming the record outright. As the Bills prepare to face the Houston Texans on Thursday night, the stakes are high for Allen. The Texans are one of just three teams that have yet to allow a rushing touchdown to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Experts are weighing in on whether Allen will break the record this week. Analyst Matt Bowen believes Allen’s usage near the red zone has been increasing, noting, “He has five goal-to-go carries over his past three games.”

Eric Karabell also leans towards a score, stating, “Allen can’t be defended at the goal line.” Meanwhile, Pamela Maldonado adds that Allen tends to take matters into his own hands when his team is close to scoring. “He is usually a run-it-in-himself kind of guy,” she explained.

Seth Walder mentioned the challenge posed by the Texans’ elite pass rush, urging Allen to rely on his scrambling ability against their defensive pressure. The Bills still have a shot at the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, underscoring the importance of each game.

Buffalo’s upcoming schedule includes matches against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Jets, all of which will be crucial for their playoff aspirations.
