Josh Allen Buffalo Bills Quarterback Media Deal

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has signed an overall deal with Skydance Sports to develop a variety of scripted and unscripted content. The announcement was made Monday, marking a significant step for the 2024 NFL MVP as he ventures into the entertainment industry.

“Josh has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most exciting and skilled players in the NFL,” said Jason Reed, head of Skydance Sports. “Not only is he a uniquely talented player, he is an amazing human being. His vision, determination, and creativity make him a force off the field as well as on, and we are thrilled to be partnering with him as he builds his business outside of the game.”

Allen expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, “I’m excited to partner with a world-class organization like Skydance Sports to further my creative ambitions through storytelling. Utilizing my platform to do good and be good is very important to me, and Skydance is an excellent partner who can help me achieve this goal through the creation of compelling content that aims to inspire.”

Skydance Sports, a joint venture founded by Skydance and the NFL, aims to expand the league’s interaction with the entertainment industry. The studio collaborates with teams and athletes to create scripted and unscripted series that explore various aspects of sports.

This partnership comes after the studio’s successful projects, including the film “Air,” the holiday movie “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” and the Netflix documentary “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma.” Upcoming releases include “They Call it Late Night with Jason Kelce” on ESPN and the docuseries “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys.”

The addition of Allen, who remains in the prime of his playing career and is currently engaged to actress Hailee Steinfeld, enhances Skydance Sports’ portfolio with a prominent athlete. Specific details about the projects Allen will undertake under this deal have not yet been disclosed.

Allen is represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). His foray into media signifies a growing trend among athletes leveraging their platforms to make an impact beyond their sports careers.
