Fc Juárez Vs León Soccer Match

The Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez is set to host a pivotal encounter between FC Juárez and León as part of the 12th matchday of the Liga MX Apertura 2024 season. Both teams are seeking to climb out of the lower ranks of the league standings. FC Juárez currently sits in 13th place with 10 points, while León is just one position behind with nine points.

Following a two-game winning streak on the road, the Bravos of Juárez return to their home turf targeting a third consecutive victory, aiming to capitalize on their momentum to secure a place in the Play-In qualifier. Notably, the Bravos achieved a 2-0 away win against Santos Laguna on October 6, which propelled them from the bottom of the league table. That triumph followed a narrow 3-2 win against Puebla.

FC Juárez’s forward, Óscar Estupiñán, who has scored three goals in six appearances since joining in late August, expressed optimism about the match. “We hope to take advantage of playing at home this weekend, as we’ve only secured one home win this season. It’s crucial that we get support from our fans because it’s going to be a competitive game, and we are fighting for positions,” Estupiñán stated.

Meanwhile, León, under the guidance of Argentine coach Eduardo Berizzo, has had a challenging season, accumulating nine points from one win, six draws, and four losses. Their goal difference stands at 11 scored and 17 conceded. The last encounter between these teams, during the Clausura 2024 season, ended in a 1-1 draw at the same venue, while León triumphed 2-1 in their previous meeting during the Apertura 2023 season.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:10 pm local time and will be broadcast live on FOX Sports and Vix.
