TURIN, Italy — Juventus has secured French striker Randal Kolo Muani on a six-month loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain, the club announced Wednesday. The move aims to address the team’s lack of depth in the attacking department as they push for a stronger finish in Serie A.

Kolo Muani, 26, joins Juventus after a challenging 18-month stint at PSG, where he scored just 11 goals in 54 appearances following a €95 million ($102.6 million) transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. The striker had fallen out of favor with PSG coach Luis Enrique, starting only twice in all competitions this season.

“We are pleased to welcome Randal to Juventus,” the club stated in an official release. “His arrival provides us with additional options in attack as we continue our campaign.” Juventus will cover Kolo Muani’s remaining salary for the season, with the deal costing up to €2.6 million, including performance-based incentives.

The signing comes as Juventus struggles with inconsistency in their forward line. Dusan Vlahovic has shouldered the bulk of the workload, while Arek Milik remains sidelined due to injury. Kolo Muani’s versatility and pace offer a different profile compared to Vlahovic, giving coach Thiago Motta more tactical flexibility.

Kolo Muani’s last standout season came in 2022-23 with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 23 goals and provided 14 assists across all competitions. Juventus hopes the loan move will reignite his form and provide a much-needed spark to their attack.

“This is a fresh start for me,” Kolo Muani said in a statement. “I am eager to contribute to Juventus’ success and prove myself on the pitch.” The striker is expected to make his debut in the coming weeks as Juventus aims to close the gap on league leaders Inter Milan.
