Kaizer Chiefs Welcome Gaston Sirino to Their Squad

Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the signing of Gaston Sirino, a former forward for Mamelodi Sundowns. The Uruguayan player has signed a two-year contract with the club after leaving Sundowns at the end of last season.

Chiefs made the announcement on social media, highlighting that they have bolstered their attacking lineup with Sirino’s experience and skills. This move is significant for the team as they strive to improve their performance under the leadership of new head coach Nasreddine Nabi.

Sirino, who arrived in South Africa from Bolivian side Bolivar in early 2018, had a very successful run at Sundowns. During his time there, he helped the team clinch various titles, including seven league championships and the African Football League.

The 33-year-old’s experience will be vital for the Chiefs, as the team has faced a long drought, having gone nine years without winning any trophies. In addition to Sirino, the club has also signed defenders Bongani Sam from Orlando Pirates, Rushwin Dortley, and goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari.

Fans are excited about Sirino’s addition but there is a mix of opinions regarding his current form. While many supporters are hopeful, some have expressed concerns about whether the player can deliver at this stage of his career.
