Keegan Bradley Hole In One Tpc Sawgrass 13th Hole

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Keegan Bradley made headlines on March 16, 2025, when he aced the par-3 13th hole during the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. This remarkable achievement marked Bradley’s second hole-in-one of the season, following a similar feat at the Genesis Invitational in February.

This time, Bradley’s incredible shot on the 13th hole was made from a tee positioned at 153 yards, 30 yards shorter than in previous rounds, anticipating strong winds. Using a 7-iron, his tee shot landed just left of the hole and spun into the cup.

The hole-in-one propelled Bradley to 6-under overall and placed him at 4-under for the final round. Despite not being as legendary as the island green 17th, the 13th hole offers its own challenges and is known to be difficult for golfers looking to score a hole-in-one. Bradley’s achievement represents the first ace at TPC Sawgrass’ 13th hole since Sungjae Im accomplished the feat in 2019, making it the 13th-ever hole-in-one on the famed hole.

With this latest success, Bradley sets his sights on the PGA Tour record for most aces in a season. Last year, Joe Highsmith made a remarkable three holes-in-one, a record that Bradley could tie if he secures one more ace in his remaining rounds. In his last nine rounds, Bradley has logged two aces, showcasing a streak of impressive play.

The 13th hole pin was placed in its traditional Sunday spot, only four paces from the left edge and 19 from the front, enhancing the challenge for players as the tee shot hovers near the water. It’s often advisable to aim for the center of the green, allowing the ball to roll towards the hole. However, Bradley took a bold approach, aiming directly for the pin. His strategy paid off as the ball hit two feet right of the hole before bouncing in, earning praise from fans and officials alike.

After this exhilarating moment on the course, Bradley’s generosity shone through once again as he promised to buy drinks for the media center, replicating a similar gesture he made earlier in San Diego. As of now, he stands five strokes behind the championship lead.

Jack Milko, a golf staff writer for SB Nation’s Playing Through, noted Bradley’s impressive play throughout the tournament and his capability to excite fans with his performance.
