Kendre Miller Leads NFL in Elusive Rating After Buffalo Bills Loss

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Kendre Miller emerged as a standout running back for the New Orleans Saints during their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Despite the Saints’ 31-19 loss, Miller shared an impressive personal statistic: he now leads all NFL running backs with an elusive rating of 155.8, according to Pro Football Focus.
In just four games this season, Miller has forced 12 missed tackles on 28 carries and gained an impressive 104 of his 124 rushing yards after making contact. This achievement highlights his ability to evade defenders and contribute significantly to the team’s offense.
Miller, in his third NFL season after a successful tenure at Texas Christian University (TCU), has established himself as the clear backup to veteran star Alvin Kamara. After the game, he expressed satisfaction with the Saints’ running strategy, stating, “Statistically, on the stat sheet, you know, Buffalo struggles against the run. So, we made an emphasis like, ‘Oh, yeah. We’ve got to run the ball.’”
He continued, “We just got it going early, and when I got in there, we were just rolling, me and AK (Kamara). It really worked out. So hopefully, going forward, it can stay the same.”
Before this matchup, the Saints hadn’t scored a touchdown on an opening drive in nine consecutive games, signaling a need for improvements in their offensive strategy. As the Saints look to bounce back this season, all eyes will be on Miller and his continuing development on the field.
