Kentucky Native Leads New LPGA Digital Content Initiative

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The LPGA Tour has announced the appointment of Kentucky native Sarah Kellam as its new Manager of Digital Content as of March 30, 2025. Kellam, who played collegiate golf at Northern Kentucky University, will spearhead efforts to enhance the league’s digital presence.
In her new role, Kellam aims to engage broader audiences through innovative digital marketing strategies. She brings a wealth of experience, having previously worked as a freelance content creator and digital strategist within the sports industry.
“I am honored to join the LPGA and promote the incredible stories of our athletes,” Kellam said. “My goal is to connect with fans in meaningful ways and showcase their journeys on and off the course.”
Kellam’s appointment comes as the LPGA seeks to expand its reach in a competitive sports landscape. Digital engagement is becoming increasingly essential in attracting new fans and retaining existing ones.
In related developments, Amy Rogers, an award-winning multimedia journalist with more than a decade of experience covering professional golf, will continue her contributions to LPGA.com. Rogers has been a vital voice in golf journalism, offering insights not only for the LPGA but also for significant outlets like the Golf Channel and BBC.
“The LPGA is at a pivotal moment, and I am excited to help tell the stories of our amazing players,” Rogers stated. “Both Sarah and I are committed to elevating the narratives that make golf so compelling.”
The LPGA will roll out a series of new digital campaigns designed to promote its athletes and events as part of this initiative. Fans can expect enhanced content, including athlete interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and coverage of upcoming tournaments.
