Killeen Isd Employees Misconduct Investigation

KILLEEN, Texas — Two employees of Killeen Independent School District (KISD) have been placed on administrative leave following allegations of sexual misconduct brought forth by an adult daughter. The KISD Police Department is currently investigating the matter.

The district communicated the situation to families on Friday evening, stating the allegations were made against the employees, who are the biological mother and stepfather of the complainant.

Upon learning of these allegations, KISD took swift action by placing both employees on leave and initiating an investigation in partnership with the Killeen ISD Police Department. One of the employees works at Nolan Middle School, and the other provides services to multiple campuses, which prompted the district to notify all families.

KISD emphasized their commitment to addressing misconduct seriously. “Killeen ISD takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and is committed to a thorough and fair review of the situation,” the district communicated. Because of the ongoing investigation, the district stated they are limited in what further details they can provide.

Families and students with concerns or seeking support have been advised to contact KISD’s counseling and administrative teams. KISD also reminded families to report any concerns through their safety website.

The safety and well-being of students continues to be a priority for KISD, as highlighted in their correspondence to families.
