PARIS, France – Randal Kolo Muani will be available to play against Paris Saint-Germain this Wednesday at 9 p.m. at the Parc des Princes in the Champions League, according to Tottenham‘s coach Thomas Frank.

Currently on loan from PSG to Tottenham until June 2028, the French international does not have a clause barring him from playing against his parent club in UEFA competitions, which is in line with UEFA’s regulations.

Unlike some leagues, like in England, where such clauses might exist, UEFA prohibits their use in its tournaments. Last season, Marco Asensio, who was on loan at Aston Villa, faced PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals, illustrating this point.

Kolo Muani missed the recent international gathering due to a jaw injury but returned to the pitch last Sunday during Tottenham’s match against Arsenal, wearing a protective mask. He came on as a substitute in the 66th minute of the North London Derby, which ended in a 4-1 loss for Spurs.

Fans have mixed opinions about Kolo Muani’s capabilities against PSG, with some praising his previous performances while others question his mental strength since the 2022 World Cup final.

As the game approaches, all eyes will be on Coach Frank to decide whether to start Kolo Muani against his old team.
