Occunet Classic Golf Tournament Amarillo

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. and AMARILLO, Texas – The Korn Ferry Tour has partnered with The OccuNet Company, Framework Events, and Tascosa Golf Club to launch a new professional golf tournament named the OccuNet Classic, starting June 11-14, 2026.

The tournament will feature 156 players from around the world competing over 72 holes. It is one of 26 events scheduled for the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. The top 20 players at season’s end will earn their PGA TOUR cards, while the No. 1 player will receive exemptions into the following year’s PLAYERS Championship and U.S. Open.

“We are thrilled to partner with The OccuNet Company to bring the Korn Ferry Tour to the Texas Panhandle,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin. The support of the Fairly Family and Tascosa Golf Club will create an unforgettable experience for fans and players alike.

The OccuNet Company, a healthcare services firm, will serve as the event’s title sponsor through at least 2030. “This reflects our commitment to our hometown,” said Alex Fairly, chairman of The OccuNet Company. “We aim to bring a premier Korn Ferry Tour event to Amarillo for all to enjoy.”

Tascosa Golf Club, located in northwest Amarillo, features 36 holes of championship golf. The La Paloma Course, where the tournament will be held, offers a scenic, challenging layout.

John Dunn, managing partner of Tascosa Golf Club, expressed excitement to host the event. “It is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our facility and community,” he said.

Framework Events will operate the tournament, with CEO Danny Rodgers emphasizing the importance of community involvement in creating a standout event. “We want the OccuNet Classic to be a memorable celebration reflecting Amarillo’s unique spirit,” he added.
