Kyle Petty Charity Ride to Visit Niagara Falls in May

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The 29th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America is set to begin on May 3 in Michigan, covering 1,400 miles to raise awareness and funds for Victory Junction, a camp dedicated to children with serious medical conditions.
This yearly event has garnered over $22 million for Victory Junction and other children’s charities since its inception in 2004. As the primary beneficiary, Victory Junction aims to provide a transformative experience for children with chronic illnesses.
Those along the route can join the riders at one of the seven overnight stops or daily pit stops, where fans can meet Petty, purchase memorabilia, and make donations. The schedule includes:
- May 3: Traverse City, Michigan to Detroit, Michigan
- May 4: Detroit to Cleveland, Ohio
- May 5: Cleveland to Niagara Falls, New York
- May 6: Off Day in Niagara Falls
- May 7: Niagara Falls to Corning, New York
- May 8: Corning to Bedford, Pennsylvania
- May 9: Bedford to Hot Springs, Virginia
Petty has named this year’s ride the “Tour of Wonders,” highlighting the various natural attractions participants will visit along the way. “We had so much fun visiting legendary American landmarks in 2024, that we decided to incorporate a few more on this year’s Ride,” said Petty in a statement.
He added, “We spent many of our early years on the Ride riding past these places, but now it’s time for us to stop and enjoy them. We’re excited to deliver a special route full of incredible experiences and scenery, like visiting Niagara Falls and riding beautiful northeastern roads. And the best part of all? Knowing that each mile we travel helps put smiles on the faces of the kids at Victory Junction.”
The charity ride will make its Niagara Falls stop on May 5, with riders staying overnight at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Buffalo Avenue. Riders will enjoy their day off on May 6 in the scenic surroundings of the Falls before resuming their journey to Corning.
