2024 Nfl All Pro Team Players Celebration

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson headline the 2024 NFL All-Pro Team, as announced by The Associated Press on Wednesday. Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, earned 30 first-place votes, while Jefferson was a unanimous selection, receiving 48 of 50 first-place votes.

Jackson, who led the Ravens to a 12-5 record and the AFC’s No. 1 seed, was joined by teammates Patrick Ricard (fullback), Roquan Smith (linebacker), and Marlon Humphrey (slot cornerback) on the first team. Jefferson, who led the league in receiving yards, expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, “Wow, that’s crazy. That’s respect right there. That’s love.”

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who rushed for 2,005 yards in his first season with the team, was also a first-team selection. Barkley sat out the final regular-season game to rest for the playoffs, forgoing a chance to break Eric Dickerson‘s single-season rushing record. “They know what’s up,” said Detroit Lions safety Kerby Joseph, who led the NFL with nine interceptions but was surprisingly left off the Pro Bowl roster.

Fourteen players earned their first All-Pro honors, including Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers, who edged out San Francisco‘s George Kittle for the first-team spot. Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, who led the league with 17.5 sacks, and Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson were also named to the first team. “That’s such a privilege and an honor,” Hendrickson said.

The All-Pro Team, selected by a nationwide panel of 50 media members, recognizes the best players at each position for the 2024 NFL season. The first team includes standout performers such as Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II, who called the recognition “a huge honor,” and Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., who rebounded from injury-plagued seasons to help his team win the AFC South.

Special teams selections included Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell, Detroit Lions punter Jack Fox, and Dallas Cowboys kick returner KaVontae Turpin. The second team featured Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, and Dallas Cowboys placekicker Brandon Aubrey.
