Charles Leclerc crossed the finish line in third place, securing the final podium position. His teammate Carlos Sainz finished fifth, while Oscar Piastri, Norris’s McLaren teammate, settled for fourth place.
The race featured a well-executed strategy, with pit stops that played a crucial role in maintaining track position. Norris’s pace allowed him to build a significant lead over Verstappen, ultimately leading to his impressive victory.
Following the race, Norris expressed his delight, stating that although it was not a perfect race due to the early lap, his performance was strong, and the car felt incredible. The victory allowed him to cut Verstappen’s championship lead significantly.
