The highly anticipated Laneway Festival has officially unveiled its line-up for 2025, stirring excitement among music enthusiasts across Australia. The annual February festival, known for bringing international and local talent to stages nationwide, promises a diverse array of performances this year.

In a nod to the festival’s signature cheeky marketing, the line-up reveals that pop sensation Charli XCX will headline with an exclusive set. Her inclusion has been eagerly speculated, with the festival’s hinting billboards last week sparking substantial public interest.

Joining Charli XCX are several notable artists, including Clairo, Beabadoobee, Barry Can't Swim, and Remi Wolf. Attendees can also experience the AV-DJ show CHROMA, conceptualized by the electronic duo BICEP. This eclectic mix is designed to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.

Laneway Festival continues its tradition of featuring emerging artists by hosting several acts making their Australian debut. Performers such as Olivia Dean, julie, Joey Valance & Brae, Fcukers, Hamdi, and 2hollis will play in front of Australian audiences for the first time, adding fresh talent to the bill.

The festival also boasts a roster of local Australian acts ready to showcase their skills to the international attendees. This includes the new-era Skegss, Girl and Girl, RONA, STÜM, and Ninajirachi, ensuring that homegrown talent remains a cornerstone of the event.

Tickets for Laneway Festival 2025 are set to go on sale at 10 am local time on Wednesday, 16 October, with a presale occurring a day earlier on Tuesday, 15 October. Historically, tickets have been in high demand, so those interested are advised to secure them promptly to avoid disappointment.
