Benjamin Šeško Football Transfer News

Leipzig, Germany – RB Leipzig is reportedly seeking £92.5 million ($124.8 million) for Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško. Seven clubs are said to be eyeing the 21-year-old, with Arsenal and Chelsea leading the charge.

According to reports, Arsenal’s pursuit of Šeško is likely to be complicated by the hefty asking price. The club is also keeping an eye on Viktor Gyökeres of Sporting CP, who is viewed favorably by their upcoming sporting director Andrea Berta.

Šeško’s transfer would set a record for Leipzig, marking him as the most expensive sale in the club’s history. Additionally, it would rank as the third-highest transfer out of any Bundesliga team.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is believed to have a strong interest in Šeško, while the club’s negotiations for Gyökeres continue to evolve. Gyökeres has been in impressive form, scoring significantly more goals and making a larger impact per game than Šeško based on recent statistics.

Chelsea is also exploring options, reportedly closing in on a transfer for Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap, who previously played for Manchester United. Furthermore, Chelsea has shown interest in Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitiké, who is also expected to demand a substantial transfer fee, valued at €100 million (£84.2 million; $113.7 million).

The transfer market is poised to see significant movement among elite strikers, but high valuations like those set for Šeško and others could limit options for many teams.
