Louisville Basketball Vs Young Harris College Exhibition Game

The University of Louisville men’s basketball team, under the leadership of new head coach Pat Kelsey, is set to begin their 2024-25 season with an exhibition game against Young Harris College. The game, scheduled for Monday, October 21, will tip off at 7 p.m. at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Coach Kelsey takes the helm after a challenging period for the Cardinals, who went 12-52 under former coach Kenny Payne from 2022-24. Kelsey is tasked with revitalizing the program and leading it back to national prominence. The current roster has been significantly overhauled, marking a fresh start for the team.

Young Harris College, a Division II program from Towns County, Georgia, will provide a competitive test for the Cardinals. The Mountain Lions, coached by Jeremy Currier, return all five starters and 82% of their scoring from last season’s 17-12 team. Currier has ties to members of Kelsey’s staff, adding an interesting dynamic to the matchup.

The exhibition game will not be broadcast on traditional TV but will be available exclusively via livestream on ACC Network Extra. Fans can watch the game through ESPN.com/watch or the ESPN app by logging in with their cable or live TV streaming service credentials. For those without cable, streaming services such as fuboTV and YouTube TV offer access to ACC Network Extra.

For radio listeners, the game will be broadcast on the Cardinal Sports Network, with Paul Rogers and Bob Valvano providing the commentary on WLCL 93.9-FM and WGTK 970-AM in Louisville. The game can also be listened to online via GoCards.com).
