LSU Tigers Bolster Roster Ahead of Early Signing Period with Key Commitments
The LSU Tigers football program is gearing up for a strong 2025 class with several key commitments ahead of the Early Signing Period, which begins on December 4. One of the standout commitments is from four-star defensive lineman Zion Williams from Lufkin, Texas. Williams, who committed to the LSU Tigers on July 4th, has reiterated his commitment to the program, emphasizing his excitement to make it official next week. The 6-foot-4, 330-pound defensive lineman is seen as a critical addition to address the depth issues on LSU’s current roster.
Another significant commitment comes from four-star interior offensive lineman Carius Curne from Marion, Arkansas. Curne, who flipped his commitment from the Arkansas Razorbacks to LSU in June, is the No. 2 rated interior offensive lineman in America. He has shut down his recruitment and will sign with the LSU Tigers next week. Curne’s addition is particularly important given the issues LSU has faced with its interior offensive line this season, which have impacted the team’s rushing attack.
These commitments are crucial for LSU as the team looks to strengthen its roster in key areas. Besides the defensive line and interior offensive line, LSU also has recruiting needs in the quarterback and defensive back positions ahead of the early signing day.
The upcoming signings are a positive note for Coach Brian Kelly‘s program, especially after the recent setback of losing top prospect Bryce Underwood to the Michigan Wolverines. With Williams and Curne locked in, LSU is positioning itself for long-term success in the trenches).
