March Madness Basketball Tournament Bracket 2025

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Selection Sunday for the 2025 NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball tournaments is scheduled for March 16, unveiling the 68-team fields for both competitions. This exciting event marks the official start of March Madness, culminating in the highly anticipated championship games shortly thereafter.

On this day, CBS will broadcast the men’s bracket reveal at 6 p.m. ET, followed by the women’s bracket on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET. This year’s NCAA tournament will kick off officially with the First Four games in Dayton, Ohio, on March 18 and 19, before the action shifts to multiple locations across the country for the first and second rounds.

The men’s tournament will be hosted at various venues, including UD Arena in Dayton, Rupp Arena in Lexington, and Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence. Other sites include Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, among others.

As the tournament approaches, a number of teams are vying for top seeds, including the No. 1 ranked women’s Auburn Tigers and the respected BYU Cougars, who recently achieved an impressive double-overtime upset against Iowa State. College basketball experts are already making predictions regarding which squads will make a deep tournament run.

The women’s tournament will similarly follow a jam-packed schedule, concluding with the Final Four held at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, on April 4, 2025. This will be Tampa’s fourth time hosting the women’s Final Four.

For viewers eager to catch the action, the entire March Madness tournament will be available across four cable networks—CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV. Fans can also stream the games on Paramount+ or any service that offers these channels, such as YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV.

In a related note, the odds of completing a perfect bracket remain astronomical, with estimates suggesting roughly a 1 in 9.2 quintillion chance for a person picking each game correctly throughout the tournament. This highlights the unpredictability and excitement that March Madness brings.

As the tournament nears, prepare for unpredictable upsets, thrilling finishes, and the chance to witness college basketball’s elite teams and emerging talents.
