Maharashtra Cm Eknath Shinde Cancels Birthday Celebrations Amidst Tragic Incident

Amidst the tragic incident of the murder of Abhishek Ghosalakar, son of Vinod Ghosalakar, Shiv Sena Deputy Leader and former MLA, and former Municipal Corporator of Mumbai, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made the decision to cancel his birthday celebrations today. The state, including Mumbai, has been shaken by this shocking incident, and therefore the Chief Minister has taken the step to refrain from celebrating his birthday.

Shinde, who had given orders yesterday to switch off the decorative lights at his residence in Thane, has put a hold on any festivities in his honor. The party workers and leaders have also been urged to abstain from organizing any celebrations on this occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his wishes to CM Shinde on his birthday, expressing appreciation for his hard work and dedication towards transforming Maharashtra and uplifting its people. He also wished Shinde a long and healthy life.

As a response to PM Modi’s wishes, CM Shinde expressed gratitude and stated that the PM’s encouragement gives him the strength to continue working for the welfare of his people. He reiterated his commitment to bring about a positive change and development in Maharashtra.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, also conveyed his greetings to CM Shinde on his birthday, lauding his efforts to lead Maharashtra towards progress and welfare. He also wished him a long and healthy life.
