Major Performers Expected for NFL Draft Concert in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLUK) — The NFL will reveal the lineup for the highly anticipated concert during the upcoming NFL Draft at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 17. The event, set for April 24-26 at Lambeau Field, promises to deliver an exciting night of music, following the seventh round of the draft.

During a recent statement, NFL Senior Director of Events Nicki Ewell mentioned that final arrangements for the concert are underway. While she did not specify the number of acts, past performers have included popular names such as Fall Out Boy and Motley Crue, attracting thousands of fans.

In reference to previous events, local organizers likened the upcoming concert to the large kickoff concert held in 2011 before the Packers‘ home opener, which featured Kid Rock and Maroon 5, drawing around 100,000 attendees outside Lambeau Field.

“We have our head of music out of L.A., so we collaborate with the local team if they have relationships with certain artists,” Ewell said. “We want to make sure it’s a crowd pleaser and representative of the community.”

The concert is scheduled to begin around 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, immediately after the final draft pick is made. However, Ewell noted that the exact start time will depend on the pace of the draft picks.

In addition to the concert, the NFL Draft will feature a variety of activities and festivities, including the Draft Experience presented by Jersey Mike's, which will transform the area around Lambeau Field into a free festival with interactive football drills, local food options, and special appearances by NFL legends.

Fans can also expect the Draft Red Carpet event on Thursday, April 24, starting at 4 p.m., with live performances and welcome speeches from Packers legends and current players, along with Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The event not only aims to spotlight future NFL stars but also celebrates local culture, with plans for food trucks featuring Wisconsin’s famous cuisine, and various family-friendly activities throughout the draft weekend.
