Manning Brothers Face Off in FanDuel’s $10M Super Bowl Kicking Challenge
NEW YORK — For years, New England Patriots fans viewed Peyton and Eli Manning as their greatest rivals. Now, they have a chance to profit from the brothers’ competition in FanDuel‘s “Kick of Destiny 3,” a $10 million kicking challenge set to air during the Super Bowl LIX pregame show on Sunday, Feb. 9.
The live event, broadcast on Fox at 3 p.m. ET, will pit the retired NFL quarterbacks against each other in a head-to-head field goal competition. Each brother will attempt a 25-yard kick, with the chance to tie or win based on their performance. If no winner emerges after three rounds, the tiebreaker will go to the brother whose final kick lands closest to the center target.
Fans can participate by predicting the winner through FanDuel’s platform. Those who pick correctly will share in $10 million worth of bonus bets, paid out the day after the Super Bowl. Picks must be submitted by 3 p.m. ET on game day.
“Eli and I have always been competitive, and this is going to be a fun way to challenge each other in a completely different way,” Peyton Manning said in a press release. “I’ve been studying film of great kickers and training hard to make sure I bring home the win for everyone in America who picks me to beat Eli.”
The Manning brothers have released a humorous commercial promoting the event, which will also feature two additional ads during the Super Bowl broadcast. The game itself will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans at 6:30 p.m. ET, airing on Fox and streaming on FuboTV.
This marks the third installment of FanDuel’s Kick of Destiny series, following two unsuccessful attempts by former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in previous years. For Patriots fans, the event offers a rare opportunity to engage with the Super Bowl festivities, even as their team remains absent from the big game.
