Brad Marchand Kids Voicemail Stanley Cup Final

Sunrise, Florida – Ahead of Game 6 in the Stanley Cup Final on June 18, the children of Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand wished him luck with a heartfelt voicemail. The kids, Sloane, Rue, and Sawyer, recorded a message that was shared by The Players' Tribune.

In the voicemail, each child took a moment to introduce themselves before congratulating their dad on reaching the Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers. “No matter what happens in the game, we’re still proud of you,” said Sawyer. Rue chimed in to express her love, calling Marchand the “best daddy in the whole wide world.”

Sloane emphasized their unwavering support: “No matter how this year comes to an end… you’ve always got a family here with open arms when you come home.”

During the game, the Panthers went on to clinch the Stanley Cup, securing a 5-1 victory over the Oilers. Sam Bennett was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy for being the most valuable player in the playoffs. He finished the postseason with 15 goals, leading all players.

Bennett reflected on the journey: “It’s hard to describe. This is way harder than I thought it would be, to win and to win twice.” His achievements during the playoffs, including a record for most road goals, solidified his status as a key player for the Panthers.

Florida’s celebration was met with cheers, especially after the Stanley Cup win. The Panthers have now won back-to-back championships and are looking forward to continuing their success in the forthcoming season.
