Marcus Rashford Faces Disciplinary Action For Missing Training After Nights Out In Belfast

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford could potentially face disciplinary action after allegedly missing training following back-to-back nights out in Belfast.

The 26-year-old was reportedly spotted at Thompsons Garage nightclub in Belfast on two consecutive nights before failing to attend training at Manchester United. Rashford was seen leaving the nightclub on Thursday evening and subsequently flew back via private jet the following morning.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag confirmed that Rashford was unable to train on Friday due to illness, along with teammate Jonny Evans. While the club did not provide any further comment on the matter, it is suggested that Rashford’s attendance at the nightclub might have played a role in his illness.

Manchester United had given their players time off ahead of their upcoming FA Cup clash against Newport on Sunday, following a 2-2 draw with Tottenham on January 14. Rashford is reportedly believed to have participated in training sessions between Monday and Wednesday before indulging in the nights out in Belfast.

Rumors suggest that Rashford visited the nightclub to catch up with former academy teammate Ro-Shaun Williams, who recently signed for Northern Irish side Larne.

This is not the first time that Rashford’s involvement in nightclub outings has landed him in trouble. Previously, he was seen partying after their 3-0 derby defeat against Manchester City in November. At the time, Rashford apologized for his actions but faced consequences internally within the club.

The situation is likely to raise concerns among Manchester United management and fans, who expect a high level of professionalism and commitment from their players. It remains to be seen how the club will handle the matter and if disciplinary action will be taken against Rashford.
