Mark Wahlberg Rhea Durham Grace Birthday Celebration

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Mark Wahlberg and his wife, Rhea Durham, celebrated their youngest daughter Grace’s 15th birthday over the weekend with heartfelt social media tributes. The couple shared nostalgic throwback photos and videos, highlighting Grace’s journey from childhood to her current passion as a competitive equestrian.

Grace, who turned 15 on Saturday, January 11, has already made a name for herself as a multiple ribbon-winning show jumper. Her parents expressed their pride in her achievements and dedication. “Happy Birthday baby girl,” Durham wrote on Instagram. “How are you 15?!?! I am so proud of you and who you are. My special girl forever! Keep shining and keep being you! We all love you so much!”

Wahlberg, 53, also shared a collage of videos and childhood photos, captioning it, “Happy b’day Grace, 15 !!! Wow that was fast!” Durham responded with a simple yet affectionate comment: “Baby girl.”

Grace’s passion for equestrian sports has earned her parents’ admiration. Wahlberg, known for his disciplined fitness regimen, revealed that his daughter surpasses him in dedication. “My daughter — believe it or not — is more disciplined than me,” he said in a recent interview. “I didn’t adopt that kind of discipline until I was in my 30s and I had to do it because of work. And now she does it on her own because she wants to be an Olympian.”

The actor, who has four children with Durham, including Ella, 21, Michael, 18, and Brendan, 16, joked about the nerve-racking experience of watching Grace compete. “I always thought the Patriots going to the Super Bowl was the most nerve-racking experience I’ve ever had,” he said. “It’s nothing like watching my daughter on a horse.”

Wahlberg also noted that Grace’s work ethic mirrors his own. “She’s doing things that my other kids are kind of now starting to think, ‘Well, we’ve got to start doing something because she’s got it all figured out, what she wants to do and how she wants to do it,'” he added. “And she’s doing the work.”

Grace’s siblings are also making strides in their respective fields. Michael is deeply involved in mixed martial arts, while Brendan aspires to follow in his father’s acting footsteps. “Brendan says he’s a better actor than me, and that he’s gonna be bigger than I ever was,” Wahlberg shared with a laugh.

The Wahlberg family’s celebration of Grace’s milestone birthday highlights their close-knit bond and shared pride in each other’s accomplishments.
