Marner, Nylander, Rielly Voted in as Maple Leafs Representatives for NHL All-Star Game
Toronto Maple Leafs forwards Mitchell Marner, William Nylander, and defenseman Morgan Rielly have been chosen by NHL fans to represent their team in the upcoming NHL All-Star Game. The announcement was made by the NHL on Saturday, following the conclusion of the 2024 NHL All-Star Fan Vote presented by MassMutual. Marner, Nylander, and Rielly will join teammate Auston Matthews in representing the Maple Leafs at the All-Star Game, which will be hosted at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto from Feb. 1-3.

This will be Marner’s third All-Star Game appearance, while Nylander and Rielly will be making their first appearances. The fan vote proved to be a significant factor in determining the All-Star rosters, with over 36 million votes cast over the course of eight days. Thatcher Demko of the Vancouver Canucks led all players in votes, followed closely by Nylander and Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche.

In addition to the Maple Leafs’ representatives, Canucks forwards J.T. Miller, Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, and goalie Thatcher Demko were also voted in by fans and will join defenseman Quinn Hughes in representing the Canucks at the All-Star Game.

The NHL All-Star Fan Vote presented by MassMutual was not the only opportunity for fans to participate in the All-Star selection process. The 2024 NHL All-Star Skills Fan Vote presented by MassMutual is now open and will determine the final two participants in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition. Fans can vote online or via X until Jan. 18.
