Martin Lawrence Brings Comedy Tour to Mystic Lake Casino in May
PRIOR LAKE, Minn. — Comedian and actor Martin Lawrence will bring his “Y’All Know What It Is” comedy tour to Mystic Lake Casino for two performances on May 2 and 3, 2025. Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
Lawrence, known for his roles in the “Bad Boys” movie series, “Big Momma’s House,” and the 1990s sitcom “Martin,” launched his career in the mid-1980s at New York City’s Improv Comedy Club. His breakout came after appearing on “Star Search” in 1986, leading to a recurring role on the TV series “What's Happening Now.”
This marks Lawrence’s first national arena tour since 2016. The Minnesota dates were recently added to the tour, which began last July. At 60 years old, Lawrence remains a popular figure in entertainment, thanks in part to the enduring popularity of his sitcom reruns.
“Martin Lawrence is a comedy legend, and his live performances are always a hit,” said a spokesperson for Mystic Lake Casino. “We’re thrilled to host him for two nights.”
Tickets for the shows range from $59 to $69.70 and will be available through the casino’s website. Lawrence’s tour comes as he continues to stay active in Hollywood, with recent appearances in “Bad Boys” sequels and plans to attend his daughter Jasmin’s wedding to Eddie Murphy‘s son, Eric Murphy.
