Matheus Cunha scored twice as Wolverhampton Wanderers held Nottingham Forest to a 2-2 draw at the City Ground in a high-octane Premier League clash.

The Brazilian forward showcased his skills with a brilliant individual effort, carrying the ball from deep in his own half and slotting it past Matz Sels to put Wolves in the lead.

Former Wolves player Morgan Gibbs-White equalized for Forest just before the break, heading in a Giovanni Reyna corner amidst the pulsating affair.

In the second half, Danilo struck to give Forest the lead, but Cunha’s gritty performance culminated with a scrappy goal to ensure Wolves left with a valuable point.

Wolves, managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, maintained their strong form while Nottingham Forest, under Gary O'Neil, continue to fight for survival in the Premier League.
