Matt Hardy Praises TNA Wrestling’s Growth and Upcoming Media Deal
Nashville, TN
Matt Hardy expressed his pride in TNA Wrestling’s recent growth during the latest episode of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast. Speaking about the organization’s evolution under Anthem Sports & Entertainment, he remarked, “I am very proud of the Anthems’ growth.”
Hardy acknowledged the early difficulties faced by the company but commended Anthem for its understanding of the wrestling business. “It’s cool how Anthem started off as a place that didn’t really have wrestling experience,” he noted. He highlighted the positive changes that have come with new leadership, saying, “It’s just a great team working for the greater good now.”
Looking ahead, Hardy shared his optimism for TNA’s future, hinting at an upcoming announcement regarding a potential media rights deal. “I think some very exciting things are on the horizon… by the end of this year, first of next year, there’s going to be a new media rights deal announced, which is going to be huge,” he said.
Hardy praised the partnership between TNA and WWE, mentioning the upcoming match for The Hardy Boyz at NXT Halloween Havoc. “Proud of WWE for allowing TNA to work with them,” he commented, expressing excitement about more collaboration opportunities.
