Matthew Mcconaughey Levi Way Of The Warrior Kid Set

Matthew McConaughey, the acclaimed Oscar-winning actor, was recently observed playing a supportive role for his 16-year-old son, Levi, during the filming of “Way of the Warrior Kid.” According to a video released by TMZ, McConaughey was captured offering emotional support and guidance to Levi on the set located at Mission Beach in San Diego. Although McConaughey is not part of the film’s production, his presence underscores his commitment to mentoring his children.

Sources reported that Levi was preparing to film a pull-up scene for what is considered his breakout role in the movie when his father provided some reassuring advice. The footage shows McConaughey giving his son a comforting pat on the shoulder, a gesture that proved to be encouraging.

McConaughey has previously spoken about his supportive stance towards his children’s career choices, even in the entertainment industry. In a 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he stated, “Look, I want them to do whatever it is they’re fashioned to do,” emphasizing his wish for his children to follow their passions.

The casting of Levi in “Way of the Warrior Kid” was announced in early September. He will be joining a cast that includes stars like Chris Pratt, Linda Cardellini, and Jude Hill in the film, which is being produced by Apple and Skydance. This film is based on Jocko Willink’s book of the same name, with Joseph McGinty Nichol set to direct and Will Staples writing the script.

Apart from Levi, McConaughey and his wife, Camila Alves, share two other children, 14-year-old daughter Vida and 11-year-old son Livingston.
