Maxx Crosby: From Defensive Star to Papa Johns Investor and Community Advocate
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby has made significant headlines recently, both on and off the football field. In a notable business move, Crosby has become an equity owner and marketing partner of BLD Ventures’ Papa Johns Las Vegas, one of the pizza chain’s largest franchisees. This investment reflects Crosby’s commitment to the city that has supported him since his arrival. “Vegas has supported me since I got here,” Crosby stated. “I love Papa Johns and teaming up with them is my way of showing love back to the city that’s embraced me as one of its own.”
As part of the agreement, Crosby will participate in the opening ceremonies for each of the 10 new Papa Johns locations expected to open in Southern Nevada over the next three years. Additionally, the chain has launched a promotion called “Maxximize Your Pizza,” offering two or more extra-large pizzas with two toppings for $14.98, with a portion of the earnings going to the Maxx Crosby Foundation. This foundation focuses on community development, wellness, and youth health in Las Vegas.
On the football front, Crosby continues to be a key player for the Las Vegas Raiders. Known for his impactful performances, he recently made a notable tackle-for-loss against Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco, which was followed by a primal scream of celebration.
Crosby’s dedication to his team and community is further highlighted by his willingness to adapt. There have been reports suggesting that he has offered to play a new position for the Raiders if it benefits the team, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to the squad.
