Melissa Rauch Mayim Bialik Night Court Reunion

NEW YORK — Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, beloved stars of *The Big Bang Theory*, reunited on screen in a hilarious crossover episode of *Night Court* on January 14, 2025. The episode, titled “Mayim Worst Enemy,” featured Bialik playing an exaggerated version of herself, much to the delight of fans and Rauch’s character, Judge Abby Stone.

In the episode, Bialik’s character appears in Abby’s courtroom to settle a restaurant dispute. Abby, a self-proclaimed superfan of Bialik’s iconic role in *Blossom*, is thrilled by the encounter. However, the situation takes a comedic turn when Bialik’s character becomes overly clingy, leading to a series of laugh-out-loud moments as the night court crew intervenes.

Rauch, who stars in and executive produces the *Night Court* revival, praised Bialik’s comedic talent. “It was so incredibly special getting to be reunited and work with Mayim again,” Rauch said. “She’s such a consummate comedic pro who was so game for taking this character in any direction we imagined.”

The reunion marks the latest collaboration between the two actresses, who previously shared the screen for over a decade on *The Big Bang Theory*. Rauch played the sassy microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz, while Bialik portrayed the quirky neuroscientist Amy Farrah Fowler. Both characters became fan favorites, contributing to the show’s massive success until its conclusion in 2019.

Bialik expressed her enthusiasm for the project, noting her admiration for *Night Court* and her history with co-star John Larroquette, who reprises his role as Dan Fielding. “I really just wanted to support her,” Bialik said. “I’m a huge fan of *Night Court*. And yes, John Larroquette and I had worked together when I played his daughter on *The John Larroquette Show* during *Blossom* time, so it was really, really fun to get to connect.”

The *Night Court* revival, now in its third season, has been praised for capturing the spirit of the original 1980s series while introducing fresh humor and heartwarming moments. The show follows Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Judge Harry Stone (played by Harry Anderson in the original series), as she takes on the role of magistrate for Manhattan’s Criminal Court night shift.

This isn’t the first time a *Big Bang Theory* alum has appeared on *Night Court*. Kunal Nayyar, who played Raj Koothrappali, guest-starred in a season two episode as a fashion designer. The crossover trend highlights the enduring camaraderie among the *Big Bang Theory* cast and their continued influence on popular television.

Fans can stream *Night Court* on Peacock, where the series continues to deliver its signature blend of zany humor and heartfelt storytelling.
