Mercedes Unveils Miami-Inspired Racing Suits Ahead of Grand Prix

Miami, FL – The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team has unveiled new, vibrant racing suits inspired by Miami’s vibrant culture ahead of the Miami Grand Prix this weekend, running from May 2 to May 4.
The team shared images of their new attire on their social media platform, X, featuring drivers George Russell, Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Antonelli, and Doriane Pin. The suits are adorned with bright colors and tropical leaf designs, reflecting the lively atmosphere of the city.
Russell expressed his excitement about the new look, describing it as a refreshing change that aligns well with Miami’s vibe. He confidently stated, “I like it, rocking the pink, something a bit different, Miami vibes.” Antonelli joined in, adding, “yes, it’s gonna be cool.”
The suits are part of a trend among Formula One teams to embrace local themes at different Grand Prix locations. However, unlike some competitors who have altered their car liveries, Mercedes decided to maintain their traditional design while introducing the new suits.
Fans have praised the bold choice, with one commenter stating, “I love to see the trio rocking that pink together.” Another fan noted Doriane’s inclusion in the promotional photos, saying, “I love that they’re including Doriane in all the photos.”
Doriane Pin, a notable talent in the junior circuit, is set to wear these suits while competing in the F1 Academy and the Formula Regional European Championship with Prema Racing.
On the track, Mercedes hopes to improve their performance following a good start to the season. Team principal Toto Wolff indicated optimism for the Miami race, stating, “We want to continue, and build on, the positive trajectory we have established so far in the first five races.”
