WASHINGTON — The D.C. region is bracing for a significant winter storm expected to bring up to 10 inches of snow on Monday, prompting widespread disruptions to public transportation. Metro officials and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser have outlined plans to manage the impact on Metrobus and Metrorail services.

Metro General Manager and CEO Randy Clarke emphasized the agency’s readiness during a briefing on Sunday.
