Michael Kim Secures Spot in 2025 Masters Tournament

DALLAS, Texas – Michael Kim, a professional golfer sponsored by Generational Group, has earned an invitation to compete in the 2025 Masters Tournament. The event, set to take place this week at Augusta National Golf Club, marks the first of the men’s four major golf championships for the year.
Kim secured his spot in the prestigious tournament by breaking into the Top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, thanks to a T32 finish at the recent Houston Open. This will be Kim’s first Masters appearance since 2019.
Having started the year ranked outside the Top 150, Kim’s ascent to No. 50 highlights a remarkable comeback season. He has demonstrated consistent improvement, a trend that culminated in his recent performance.
“It is truly an honor to compete in the Masters with the world’s best golfers, and Michael has earned the opportunity with his outstanding play this season,” said Generational Group President and CEO.
The Generational Group is headquartered in Dallas and is a leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firm with over 300 professionals across 15 offices in North America. The firm provides a wide array of services, including strategic growth consulting and exit planning education.
Excitement is building not only for Kim’s participation but for what promises to be a thrilling week of golf at Augusta. “We are expecting a strong performance from Michael and look forward to an exciting Masters this year,” the CEO added, emphasizing the support of the entire Generational family as they cheer on Kim.
The 2025 Masters Tournament will feature a stellar lineup of athletes competing to secure the coveted green jacket and solidify their place in golf history.
