Ac Milan Fiorentina Match San Siro

MILAN, Italy — AC Milan coach Sergio Conceicao has announced his starting lineup for a crucial Serie A clash against Fiorentina at San Siro on Saturday. Following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Inter in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, the Rossoneri are in desperate need of a win to climb back into contention for European qualification.

With Milan currently sitting nine points away from fourth place and having lost four of their last six Serie A matches, the pressure is mounting. As they aim to secure as many points as possible, Conceicao faces the task of overcoming absences in his squad, including Alex Jimenez due to suspension and injured players Emerson Royal and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The good news for Milan fans is that Tijjani Reijnders has returned after recovering from a viral infection.

In a 4-2-3-1 formation, Milan’s defense includes Kyle Walker, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, and Theo Hernandez, shielded by goalkeeper Mike Maignan. In midfield, Yunus Musah and Youssouf Fofana will serve as the double pivot. Reijnders will take up the playmaker role, flanked by wingers Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao, while Tammy Abraham leads the attack.

The confirmed starting eleven for Milan is as follows: Maignan; Walker, Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Musah, Fofana; Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao; Abraham. The bench includes Sportiello, Torriani, Florenzi, Pavlović, Terracciano, Gabbia, Chukwueze, Gimenez, João Félix, Jović, and Sottil.

On the opposite side, Fiorentina counters with a 3-5-2 setup, featuring goalkeeper David De Gea, alongside defenders Pongracic, Marí, and Ranieri. In midfield, Dodò, Fagioli, Cataldi, Mandragora, and Parisi will support forwards Gudmundsson and Kean. Their bench consists of Terracciano, Martinelli, Beltran, Comuzzo, Zaniolo, Moreno, Richardson, Ndour, Adli, and Folorunsho.

The stakes are high for both teams this Saturday as they compete not only for points but also for momentum moving forward in the season. Milan will look to convert their home advantage into a much-needed victory ahead of a challenging fixture schedule.
