MILANO, Italy (April 27, 2025) — AC Milan is set to take on Venezia at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo today at 12:30 PM local time, aiming to improve its standings ahead of the Coppa Italia final on May 14.

The teams have announced their starting lineups. Milan will play in a 3-4-3 formation with Maignan in goal, supported by defenders Tomori, Gabbia, and Pavlovic. The midfield includes Jimenez, Fofana, Reijnders, and Hernandez, while Pulisic, Jovic, and Leao are tasked with attacking duties. Venezia, on the other hand, will use a 3-5-2 setup featuring Radu, Schingtienne, Idzes, and Candè in defense, supported by Zerbin, Busio, Nicolussi Caviglia, Haps, and Kike Perez in midfield. The attacking duo will be Fila and Yeboah.

Referee Luca Manganiello will oversee the match, assisted by Berti and Bahri, with Galipò serving as the fourth official. Paterna will be in charge of the VAR duties.

After suffering a setback against Atalanta, Milan aims to secure three crucial points to boost their chances of qualifying for the Europa League as they prepare for the upcoming Coppa Italia final. The team cannot afford any slip-ups as they look to make a strong push in the league.

Venezia sits third from the bottom in the standings, just one point away from safety. Despite collecting five points from their last three matches and only one loss in the past eight games, they need a dramatic turnaround to escape relegation.

This match is not only key for Milan in their European ambitions but also critical for Venezia’s survival in Serie A.
