Minnesota United Hosts FC Dallas Amidst Unbeaten Streak

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota United FC will face FC Dallas on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Allianz Field, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT. The Loons are eager to build on their seven-game unbeaten streak as they take on Dallas, which aims to recover from a recent home loss.
After a scoreless draw against Toronto FC last week, Minnesota stands second in the Western Conference, trailing only the Vancouver Whitecaps. Head coach Eric Ramsay emphasized the importance of converting opportunities: “We’re a counter-attacking threat, but against Toronto, we were one or two passes short of creating quality chances,” he stated.
Dallas comes into the match seeking to improve its performance on the road. After a disappointing 1-0 defeat to the Seattle Sounders last week, which left them with only one win at home this season, the team currently sits eighth in the conference with 11 points. Forward Logan Farrington noted, “As much as home should be a fortress, we have struggled so far at home. Away we’ve been pretty solid, so hopefully we can regroup.”
The match features the MLS “One Planet, One Chance” jerseys, made from recycled materials, as part of Earth Week celebrations. Fans can purchase these jerseys at the Black and Blue Team Store.
Pre-game festivities will include a performance of the national anthem by Joseph Kastner, while various fans and community members will receive honors during the ceremony. Notable mentions include Sara Barron-Leer, who will be recognized as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and the NutriSource SuperStar designation goes to a local shelter dog, Rosie.
Guests attending the match can enjoy a selection of food and beverage options, including a featured cocktail, the Strawberry Gin Smash, available at various locations in the stadium. Additionally, ZOA Energy will provide complimentary samples following the game.
With Minnesota Union’s stellar home record, having not lost a match at Allianz Field yet, Saturday’s game poses a significant challenge for FC Dallas. Minnesota’s only loss this season was on opening day against LAFC.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. CT, with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. For fans attending, please be aware of the stadium’s clear bag policy to expedite entry.
