MLB Announces July Schedule for Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+

DETROIT, Mich. – Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have revealed the July schedule for the popular “Friday Night Baseball” series, which streams weekly on Apple TV+ throughout the 2025 season.
Beginning July 4, fans will enjoy high-quality broadcasts of two marquee matchups each week, available in 60 countries and regions. Highlights include the St. Louis Cardinals facing the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field on Independence Day.
Following the July 4 matchup, the schedule features games like the Seattle Mariners at Detroit Tigers on July 11 and a highly anticipated clash between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies on July 25.
“Friday Night Baseball” showcases distinguished broadcast teams, including Wayne Randazzo and Dontrelle Willis. The games include advanced production techniques and immersive audio to enhance viewer experience, providing local radio broadcasts for U.S. and Canadian fans.
In addition to the baseball action, fans can catch daily highlights and access a plethora of MLB content through the Apple TV app, which is now also available for Android users.
The Detroit Tigers are set to host the National League-leading Chicago Cubs tonight at Comerica Park starting at 7:10 p.m. Eastern. Both teams are competing for the best overall record, with the Tigers currently atop the American League Central.
The matchup features standout players, including Tigers’ Spencer Torkelson and Cubs’ Pete Crow-Armstrong, promising an exciting game for fans. Detroit leads the division by six games, aiming to further solidify their position against the formidable Cubs team.
