Montana State’s Marcus Wehr Poised for NFL Draft Selection

Billings, Montana – Marcus Wehr, an offensive lineman from Montana State University, is projected to be selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Wehr is ranked as the No. 163 overall prospect and the No. 9 offensive guard according to Draft Scout’s database.
Originally arriving at Montana State as a defensive lineman, Wehr made a significant position switch to the offensive line in 2022, where he has since thrived. After starting the first seven games at tackle in 2022 before sustaining an injury, he returned to secure the tackle spot in 2023. His performances earned him high praise, including being named the No. 1 offensive tackle in all of FCS and FBS by Pro Football Focus (PFF) and receiving First Team All-American and All-Big Sky honors.
Wehr’s versatility shone through when he moved to guard for the 2024 season, as he again earned First Team All-American and All-Conference accolades, topping PFF’s rankings for FCS offensive guards.
