Nashville Predators Acquire Forward Ryder Rolston from Chicago Blackhawks

In a recent transaction, the Nashville Predators have acquired forward Ryder Rolston from the Chicago Blackhawks. The deal, announced on November 27, 2024, involves the Predators receiving Rolston in exchange for future considerations.

Ryder Rolston, 23, is the son of longtime NHL player Brian Rolston. He was drafted by the Blackhawks in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Draft. Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 174 lbs, Rolston is versatile and can play all three forward positions.

During his time with the Chicago Blackhawks organization, Rolston spent two seasons playing for the Rockford IceHogs in the American Hockey League (AHL). In 68 games with the IceHogs, he scored 11 goals and recorded nine assists..

Following the trade, Rolston is expected to report to the Predators’ AHL affiliate, where he will continue his professional hockey career..
