Nashville Predators Struggle Through Tough Season Start, Coach Andrew Brunette Expresses Frustration
The Nashville Predators are facing significant challenges early in the 2024-25 NHL season, holding one of the worst records in the league. With a current record of 7-15-6, the team has struggled to find consistency and momentum.
Head Coach Andrew Brunette has been vocal about his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance. In a recent statement, Brunette expressed his frustration, suggesting that he could potentially scratch the entire team due to their poor showing. This blunt assessment highlights the depth of the team’s struggles and the coach’s urgency to see improvement.
Despite the challenges, there have been some notable performances. Players like Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Marchessault have reached significant milestones, and younger players such as Zachary L’Heureux have scored their first NHL goals. However, these individual achievements have not been enough to lift the team out of its slump.
The Predators have also made some roster moves in an attempt to bolster their lineup. Recently, they acquired Ryder Rolston from the Chicago Blackhawks and recalled players like Adam Wilsby and Nick Blankenburg from the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.
As the season progresses, the Predators will look to turn their fortunes around, starting with their upcoming game against the Calgary Flames, which was previewed by Coach Brunette during a morning skate session on December 10.
