Nate Landman Joins Rams in One-Year Deal

Los Angeles, CA — The Los Angeles Rams announced on March 18, 2025, that they have reached an agreement with inside linebacker Nate Landman on a one-year contract.
Landman, 26, comes to the Rams after spending the last three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, where he accumulated 192 total tackles, three sacks, and one interception across 36 games, including 23 starts. The majority of his success was seen in the 2023 season, when he recorded 110 tackles, two sacks, and three forced fumbles while starting 14 of 16 games.
After the Falcons opted not to tender him as a restricted free agent at the start of the new league year, Landman entered the market as an unrestricted free agent. He began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent from the University of Colorado, signed by Atlanta in 2022.
<p""Nate has shown tremendous growth over the past few seasons and has proven himself as a dependable starter in the league," Rams General Manager Les Snead said in a statement. "We believe he will make a significant impact on our defense."
Initially, Landman was one of the final cuts for the Falcons during his rookie year but quickly returned to the practice squad. He earned a futures deal with the team the following offseason and eventually secured a spot on their active roster.
In his most recent season with Atlanta, Landman played in 13 games, starting in six, and tallied 81 tackles and three more forced fumbles. Landman’s consistent performance has made him a key player in the defensive lineup, and the Rams are looking forward to incorporating his talents into their scheme.
The transition to the Rams marks a new chapter for Landman as he aims to further establish himself in the NFL. The team’s revamped defense is expected to benefit from his experience and skills on the field.
