Nba All Star Game 2025 Fan Voting Results

The second round of NBA All-Star Game fan voting results has been released, with Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo maintaining their positions as the top vote-getters. The current fan-voted starters include LaMelo Ball, Donovan Mitchell, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Karl-Anthony Towns, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.

Stephen Curry has overtaken Luka Doncic for the second starting guard spot in the Western Conference, marking a significant shift in the fan voting. LaMelo Ball, despite playing for the struggling Charlotte Hornets, leads Eastern Conference guards in fan voting, though his position may not hold once player and media votes are factored in. Ball is averaging 29.9 points and 7.3 assists per game, but his team’s poor record and his inefficient scoring could impact his final standing.

LeBron James, a perennial All-Star starter, faces potential competition from Victor Wembanyama for a starting frontcourt spot in the West. Wembanyama, in his second season, is emerging as a dominant force and is close behind James in fan voting. The player and media votes could tip the scales in his favor, potentially ending James’ streak of 20 consecutive All-Star starts.

In the Eastern Conference, the frontcourt starters—Antetokounmpo, Tatum, and Towns—appear to be locks. However, the guard positions remain competitive, with Jalen Brunson currently fourth in fan voting despite his strong performance for the New York Knicks.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game, set for February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, will feature a new format aimed at increasing competitiveness. The 24 All-Stars will be divided into three teams of eight, drafted by TNT‘s Inside the NBA analysts. These teams, along with the Rising Star Challenge winner, will compete in a knockout-style tournament with games to 40 points.

While the new format has drawn mixed reactions from players, including criticism from Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis, the league hopes it will reinvigorate the event. Fan voting, which accounts for 50% of the starter selection, continues through January 20, with player and media votes making up the remaining 50%.
