Isaiah Stewart Nba Suspension Bobblehead

DETROIT, Mich. — Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has been suspended for one game without pay after accumulating his sixth flagrant foul point of the season, the NBA announced Friday.

Stewart received a flagrant foul 2 and was ejected during the second quarter of the Pistons’ 133-119 loss to the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday. The incident occurred with 8:45 remaining in the quarter, marking his sixth flagrant foul point this season. He entered the game with four flagrant foul points.

The suspension will be served during the Pistons’ home game against the Orlando Magic on Friday. Ironically, the team had planned to honor Stewart by distributing bobbleheads featuring his likeness to fans attending the game. According to TMZ Sports, the Pistons will proceed with the giveaway as the promotional schedule was finalized before the season began.

In addition to the suspension, Stewart was fined $50,000 for making inappropriate and objectionable gestures following his ejection. He will also forfeit $86,207 in salary for missing Friday’s game, as reported by ESPN‘s Bobby Marks.

Stewart, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound center, is averaging 5.4 points and 5.8 rebounds this season. His suspension comes at a challenging time for the Pistons, who are struggling to maintain momentum in the Eastern Conference standings.
