INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The NCAA Division I Baseball Committee revealed the 16 regional sites for the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship on Monday. The tournament will feature a total of 64 teams competing for the title.

Selections were announced as part of the upcoming 78th annual championship. The regional championships will take place from May 30 to June 2, 2025. Each regional will include four teams playing in a double-elimination format.

This year marks the 37th time Florida State will host a baseball regional, a record for any school. UCLA will host for the first time since 2019. Other notable hosts include Oregon and Southern Mississippi, which will each host for the fourth time.

“We are excited to announce this year’s regional hosts,” said the NCAA committee chair. “Each institution has shown great commitment to hosting and supporting college baseball over the years.”

All the teams selected for host institutions will also participate in the championship field. The announcement of the 2025 tournament’s full 64-team bracket is set for May 26 at Noon ET, and will air live on ESPN2.

Following the regionals, the eight super regional hosts will be confirmed on June 3. The tournament will head into the Men’s College World Series, scheduled from June 13 to June 23 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.

With 29 Division I conferences receiving automatic berths and 35 at-large selections possible, the competition for a spot in the tournament is intense. The SEC leads expected bids this year, followed closely by the ACC, Big 12, and Big Ten.

The NCAA’s announcement provides key dates for fans and teams gearing up for what is anticipated to be an exciting postseason.
