Ncaa Men's Lacrosse Tournament 2025

NEW YORK, N.Y. — The NCAA men’s lacrosse tournament begins this weekend, with plenty of action scheduled to take place on May 10 and 11. All eyes will be on the games as teams vie for a chance at the championship held later this month.

This tournament’s first round matches will be streamed live on various platforms, including ESPN+, FuboTV, and DirecTV Stream, which offer free trials for new users. Fans can catch all the first-round action on ESPNU, except for one game that will air on ESPN2.

The schedule for the first round is as follows: On Saturday, May 10, Richmond will face off against No. 8 North Carolina at noon ET, followed by No. 3 Princeton versus Towson at 2:30 p.m. ET. At 5 p.m. ET, Colgate will take on No. 5 Penn State, and the evening will conclude with Georgetown against No. 7 Duke at 7:30 p.m. ET.

On Sunday, May 11, matches include No. 4 Ohio State taking on Notre Dame at noon ET, followed by No. 2 Maryland facing Air Force at 2:30 p.m. ET. The day wraps up with Harvard playing No. 6 Syracuse at 5 p.m. ET and Albany going against No. 1 Cornell at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Ohio State, coming off a Big Ten Tournament victory, will host Notre Dame, which enters the tournament unseeded despite its impressive track record in recent years. The Buckeyes secured the fourth seed in the tournament after winning the Big Ten regular-season and tournament titles.

Ohio State and Notre Dame previously met earlier this season, with Ohio State edging out a narrow 10-9 victory. Notre Dame’s recent loss to Syracuse in the ACC Championship left them looking for redemption against the Buckeyes.

As the tournament progresses, fans can stay updated on scores and upcoming match schedules through various sports channels. With the tournament field set, attention turns to whether any team can unseat the two-time defending champions, Notre Dame.
